Mariachi Tesoro de Tucson is a mariachi group consisting of fourteen children, ages 10 through 15 years operating under the non-profit organization Mariachi Nueva Generación, Inc. Jaime Valenzuela is the musical director. The musicians practice together four hours per week, in addition to private lessons and practice with their school mariachi groups and participate in the annual Tucson International Mariachi Conference.
